About Conveyed

Wall Street compliance discipline.
Applied to every carrier dispatch.

Conveyed brings a different standard to vehicle transport. Most brokers dispatch to whoever is cheapest and available. Conveyed was built by an industry insider who learned the automotive pipeline as a Finance & Insurance Manager, then spent nearly a decade on Wall Street handling regulatory matters at the world's most scrutinized financial institutions. The same vetting discipline that governed institutional counterparty risk now governs every carrier in our network.

The Founder

Metry

"I spent years in the automotive industry before directing regulatory compliance for global financial institutions. When I launched a car buying advisory, clients consistently needed reliable transport — and the existing broker landscape was opaque, poorly vetted, and inconsistent. I built Conveyed to apply the same compliance discipline I used in institutional finance to carrier qualification, insurance verification, and client communication. Every carrier is verified the same way I verified counterparties on Wall Street — independently, thoroughly, and before any exposure."

Before founding Conveyed, Metry spent four years in automotive retail as a Finance & Insurance Manager inside a New Jersey dealership — structuring deals, managing lender relationships, and learning the operational mechanics of how vehicles move between locations. That experience gave him a firsthand understanding of dealer trade networks, factory shipments, auction transport, and the gaps that exist when vehicles need to move between points.

His career then moved to Wall Street, where he spent nearly a decade in regulatory compliance at global financial institutions — progressing from analyst to Vice President at a Global Systemically Important Bank. He managed primary relationships with seven federal and international regulators, directed enterprise remediation programs across corporate divisions, and developed a specific discipline: verifying credentials before trust, confirming insurance before exposure, and documenting every stage of a transaction. That discipline is now applied to every carrier in Conveyed's network.

He also founded Negotiated, a nationwide car buying advisory service that applies Wall Street-level contract analysis to protect car buyers in the dealership finance office. That business revealed a consistent operational gap — clients purchasing vehicles from out-of-state dealers needed reliable transport, and the existing broker landscape was opaque and poorly vetted. Conveyed was built to close that gap with institutional-grade standards.

Why It Matters

What an institutional compliance background sees in vehicle transport that most brokers miss.

Years inside regulated financial institutions produce a specific operational discipline: verifying credentials before extending trust, confirming insurance before accepting exposure, and maintaining complete documentation at every stage. Vehicle transport brokerage requires exactly the same discipline — applied to carriers instead of counterparties, and to cargo insurance instead of credit risk.

Carrier Vetting = Institutional Due Diligence

In institutional finance, you don't transact with a counterparty until their credentials are independently verified — authority status, insurance coverage, regulatory standing, and performance history. The same standard applies to every carrier in our network. FMCSA authority, cargo insurance certificates, CSA safety scores, and historical performance are verified before every dispatch — not just at onboarding. A carrier that was qualified last month may have a lapsed insurance policy today. We check every time.

Insurance Verification = Risk Management

Cargo insurance is the single most important protection in vehicle transport — and the one most frequently assumed rather than verified. Carriers can lose coverage between dispatches. Policies lapse, get cancelled, or have exclusions that aren't apparent on a standard certificate. We verify active coverage on every shipment, confirm policy limits against vehicle value, and maintain our own contingent cargo insurance as a secondary layer. The same risk management discipline that monitored counterparty exposure in institutional finance monitors insurance exposure on every load.

Single Point of Contact = Accountability

In regulated financial institutions, every engagement has a named responsible party — someone accountable for the outcome from start to finish. The same applies here. Your shipment has one dedicated coordinator from quote to delivery. Not a call center. Not a rotating queue. One person who knows your vehicle, your route, your timeline, and your concerns. When something needs attention — a schedule change, a weather delay, a pickup complication — you reach the same person who booked the shipment. That continuity is not a feature. It's a standard.

Background

The career that built this service.

2009–2013
B.S. Finance — Seton Hall University

Grounded in financial analysis, corporate finance, and risk assessment. The same analytical framework used to evaluate credit risk and model regulatory exposure is what drives every carrier qualification and insurance verification at Conveyed.

2013–2017
Finance & Insurance Manager — Automotive Industry (New Jersey)

Structured retail automotive financing, managed lending relationships, and administered aftermarket product portfolios. Gained firsthand exposure to vehicle logistics — dealer trades, factory shipments, auction transport — and the operational gaps that exist when vehicles need to move between locations. The understanding of how vehicles actually move through the retail pipeline is foundational to Conveyed's operations.

2017–2019
Senior Analyst, Regulatory Operations — Global Investment Bank

Executed regulatory filings under FINRA, SEC, and Basel Committee frameworks. Developed the discipline of reading contracts at the rule level — identifying what a document actually says versus what it implies. The same discipline is applied to every carrier agreement, insurance certificate, and Bill of Lading reviewed for clients.

2019–2020
Analyst & Senior Associate — Global Investment Bank & Asset Manager

Performed independent surveillance investigations and monitored complex financial instruments for regulatory exposure. Sharpened the ability to identify where operational processes create undisclosed risk — which is precisely what unvetted carrier dispatch and lapsed insurance coverage are.

2020–2022
Vice President, Global Regulatory Engagement — Global Systemically Important Bank (G-SIB)

Directed enterprise-wide remediation programs across institutional divisions. Managed primary liaison relationships with seven regulators — FRB, OCC, FDIC, CFTC, NFA, SEC, and PRA. The compliance instinct developed at this level — verify before trust, confirm before exposure, document every stage — transfers directly to carrier vetting, insurance verification, and shipment documentation.

2022–2026
Independent Research & Technical Development

Completed professional certificate programs in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity at Harvard University and Quantum Computing at Delft University of Technology. Founded Negotiated, a nationwide car buying advisory service. That business revealed a consistent operational gap: clients purchasing vehicles from out-of-state dealers needed reliable transport, and the existing broker landscape was opaque, inconsistent, and poorly vetted.

2026
Founded Conveyed

Built a vehicle transport brokerage that applies institutional-grade carrier vetting, insurance verification, and client communication standards to an industry that traditionally lacks all three. Licensed, bonded, and insured from day one. The same compliance discipline that governed regulatory programs at the world's most scrutinized financial institutions now governs every carrier dispatch.

How We Operate

Four principles that govern every shipment.

Carrier Vetting

Every carrier is verified for active FMCSA authority, cargo insurance minimums, CSA safety scores, and performance history before receiving a single dispatch. We don't onboard carriers on reputation alone — we verify independently, every time.

Transparent Pricing

Your quote is your price. No hidden fees, no fuel surcharges added after booking, no bait-and-switch at delivery. The number we quote is the number you pay. If conditions change, we communicate before adjusting — never after.

Communication

One dedicated coordinator from quote to delivery. Real-time updates at every stage — pickup confirmation, in-transit status, and delivery notification. No call centers, no phone trees, no being transferred to someone who doesn't know your shipment.

Insurance Verification

We verify cargo insurance certificates before every dispatch — not just at carrier onboarding. Insurance lapses happen. Policies get cancelled. We check every time because institutional risk management means never assuming yesterday's verification covers today's exposure.
